Calabasas

Calabasas is an affluent city in Los Angeles County, California, located in the hills of the Santa Monica Mountains which extend from the southwestern San Fernando Valley, between  Woodland Hills, Agoura Hills, West Hills and Malibu, yet only 22 miles away from Downtown Los Angeles.
The historic El Camino Real  runs east-west through Calabasas as U.S. Route 101.
A short picturesque drive through the magnificent Santa Monica Mountains will take you to the Pacific Coast Highway, the Ocean, and all the wonderful beaches of Malibu and Santa Monica.
The City of Calabasas delightfully blends all the amenieties of 21st Century living with the romance and peace of its historic charm.
As of the 2010 census, the city population was 23,058.
Calabasas's crime rate is significantly lower than approximately 78% of all California communities, but more than that, in addition, when, compared to other communities of similar population size all across America, Calabasas is actually safer than most, as it has a crime rate that is noticeably lower than the average.
